DAY 1 – WELCOMING GUESTS AT AIRPORT AND DROPPING TO THE HOTEL
  • Hotel could be arranged according to the choice of the guest/group.
  • Staying in Negombo, relaxing on the sandy beach.

Day 2 – Dambulla / Sigiriya
  • Visiting Dambulu Viharaya and staying the night at a 3 to 5-star hotel.
  • The Dambulla Cave Temple in Sri Lanka is important because it’s a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a well-preserved example of Sri Lankan religious art.
DAY 3 – Climbing Sigiriya Rock in the morning
  • Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most important historical monuments. It’s a testament to ancient Sri Lankan architecture and engineering and is considered one of the world’s greatest examples of ancient architecture.
  • In the evening, experience wildlife through a safari in the nearby Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park to see wild elephants in their natural habitat.

DAY 4 – Polonnaruwa
  • Polonnaruwa is an important city in Sri Lanka because it was the capital of the country for several centuries and is now a well-preserved archaeological site. It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DAY 5 – TRINCOMALEE
  • Arrive in Trincomalee or Pasikuda.
  • Nilaveli Beach in Sri Lanka is important because of its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and opportunities for water sports.

  • Enjoying the sunny and sandy beach while watching the sunset.
DAY 6 – JAFFNA
  • Arrival in Jaffna.
  • Historically, Jaffna has been a contested city. It was made into a colonial port town during the Portuguese occupation of the Jaffna peninsula in 1619, who lost it to the Dutch, only to lose it to the British in 1796. During the civil war, the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) occupied Jaffna in 1986.

DAY 7 – Visiting Nagadeepa Temple
  • Evening, arrive in Anuradhapura.

DAY 8 – ANURADHAPURA
  • Anuradhapura is a significant archaeological and cultural site in Sri Lanka. It’s the birthplace of Sinhalese culture and a center of Theravada Buddhism. The city was the capital of the Sinhala Kingdom of Rajarata for over 1,000 years. Anuradhapura was also the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries and has been a major Buddhist pilgrimage site with ruins of many ancient Buddhist temples, including the famous Anuradhapura Maha Viharaya and the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest still-living, documented tree.

  • Evening, leaving to Colombo.
DAY 9 – Colombo
  • Situated on the west coast of the island, just south of the Kelani River, Colombo is a principal port on the Indian Ocean. It has one of the largest artificial harbors in the world and handles the majority of Sri Lanka’s foreign trade.

  • Sightseeing – Lotus Tower / Port City.

DAY 10 – Departure from Katunayake Airport
